Just to be clear, this is only a one-part LP. I thought there was going to be a lot more to look at for this game, but this video is enough to see what there is to offer (and perhaps a bit too long at that).

I think my experience (if you want to call it that) is started to show as I play these games, because I see a lot of necessary tiny improvements, and I also see a lot of more significant but still important gameplay additions that would increase the "want to play". This roguelike is really a good example of what has been somewhat misconstrued as a roguelike these days: a turn-based dungeon diver with some stats and equipment. If anything, these things define the gameplay elements of the classically-defined RPG. What made Rogue significant, and why people enjoyed it over something like Ultima or Might & Magic, is that there are subtle but powerful elements at your disposal that you have to figure the ins and outs of, and that these things are not guaranteed to you each time you play.

The juxtaposition of "thinking on your feet" and "taking turns in combat" blends extraordinarily well, and it's what made the Rogue formula so interesting. That's what developers should be focusing on what it comes to presentable roguelike mechanics.
