DCSS (P31): Good Times
7This entire recording bit was really fun, because I had no idea what to expect from any of the areas I was going into. Doesn't stop me from almost dying a few times, but that's what the true fun of this game comes from.
Note to self: PLEASE try to use wands more. I want to figure out how well things like enslavement and disintegration work on creatures at this point. Also: remember that you have evoke blink AND evoke invisibility. Seriously, those sorts of things are great anti-swarm tools. And a final thing, because I'm a dumb-dumb: allies don't follow you up/down stairs if they're literally not following you by order. So Geryon should be pretty doable, I think.
Y'know it's great, because in the heat of the moment you often forget a ton of things. The experience of playing the game has much to do with forgetting such things less and less.
