We continue inching along through each battle and finally get started on building up a small force of undead.

Wizards can learn Necromancy which allows them to convert raised dead into permament units for their army. The skill also increases the rate Undead regenerate health outside of battle (Healers do not help in this). Undead can be useful as they do not lose Stamina or Morale and are unhindered by heavy wounds. They require no Gold to create or upkeep. You just have to pay a few gems for the spell, the conversion, and a gem or two each turn as upkeep.
