Lets Play Final Fantasy V Remaster Part 5 Dancer, Samurai, Chemist, Dragoon ASSEMBLE
1So in this Part we get the Adamantite although we aggro an adamantoise we beat it then upgrade the ship so it can fly higher then we take out the turrets, rockets and flamethrowers with some tenting between fights although only the rocket turrets are a real danger.
After dealing with all the turrets a huge cannon appears and we take it out and change up our jobs going with black mage, summoner, geomancer and knight.
Thundara used on all targets and Ramuh is very powerfull against the cannon and its parts.
Once we beat it with two people left we enter the ruins and i dont bother going back and tenting up since i wanted some other chars to overtake in xp.
Faris and Lenna survived note even though Faris is the black mage she is using animals and because of black mage being good at magic when the nightingdale bird proccs that heals everyone alive it heals for 500-600 hp instead of around 300-400 so yeah its quite good.
We do eventually find a phoenix down and ress Galuf aswell i change him into Ranger so i can learn animals on another character.
The Dark Bow that drops in the ruins comes in handy it causes darkness and deals good damage.
Evenetually we get Bartz up aswell and make him a ranger also using a Dark Bow.
We do lot all the treasures although we had to go back for the last 5.
The boss was fairly easy as i had equipped our knight with berserk (the lvl 1 ability learned for berserker) the goal ofcourse was to learn two handed so i could two hand coral sword/ancient sword also comes in handy for the Samurai later.
Our two Rangers Galuf and Bartz just attacked normally dealing 400-600ish damage and Faris keept using animals.
Anyway we do the treasure backtracking after beating the boss then after we got all the treasures we head back to where the boss was and goes into the crystal room and some shit goes down.
We come out with the crystal shards but.........
EXDEATH awakens YEHAWWWW MILLER LIGHT DRIVING MY TRUCK!
Exdeath is one of my favorite villans he is really powerfull and is an old tree kinda like the opposite of Yggdrasil.
The crystal shards gives us Samurai, Dragoon, Dancer and Chemist all of them hella OP.
Samurai especially if you have two handed since now you can finally use Ashura sword on something that isnt Freelancer.
Dragoon is really could use Image from Ninja do dodge two physical attacks in a row before needing to reapply it.
Then jump like crazy wielding a spear jump deals double damage.
Dancer is ridicilusly powerfull doing diffrent dances, once is a hb absorb that deals damage and absorb for the damage amount, one is an mp absorb usefull against the giant bomb pack boss, there is a confusion style seduction move, there is a sword dance for giant damage.
Overall the dances are really good but animals are still worth using and hopinh the heal proccs.
Dancer can use Ribbon btw and Ribbon is really good increasing several stat main stats.
Chemist is fantastic making potions and ethers more powerfull although it seems only in combat and not outside of it, or it might need i need to unlock a certain ability for it first.
The chemist can also drink the diffrent drinks when you check one of the things out in the inventory it says if it requires the drink command.
There is a haste drink, a protection drink, a attack power drink for physical attacks, a hp doubler drink although sometimes it seems way more then just doubling it.
There is also a drink that makes you higher lvl since that matters for damage and defense and healing and such.
You can also apperently eventually mix a la RIKKU from FFX.
Although i guess it needs unlocking at a certain chemist lvl.
Chemist wear fairly weak armor though i still recommend front row for more damage output.
Ofcourse Galuf and his granddaughter Krile goes back to their world and yes that world is quite big and we do follow him eventually after quite a few bosses and some meteorite hunting and doing the meteors in order is easy even if you do it blind since you just do the meteors in the order they appear on the map list like when you go into the map on the world map you see the name of places and just go to the meteors the order they appear in from top to bottom.
Ofcourse once we get to Galufs world we get kindapped by EXDEATH.
EXDEATH who for some reason soon are gonna hate TURTLEZ (Who is voiced by the OG Teenage Mutan Hero (Ninja in the US) Turtles cartoon the person who voices Shredder wich matters in Dissidia and Dissidia Doudecim for the PSP he i also in Dissidia NT for the PS4 although the story mode in that is kinda mehhh it looks great though.
