Wrexsoul can be a complicated boss if you have no idea what you are doing. He will possess the body of one of your party members. He cannot be attacked until you break that character down to critical or slain. He will then appear for a bit for you to attack him before you have to repeat the whole process. There are no signs showing which party member you need to critical unfortunately.
There are also two minions that constantly regenerate when killed. They know spells like Fire 3 which they will happily spam your party with while you try to figure out what to do. But, if you slay them both with X-Zone, you immediately win the battle. So just Vanish them both and use X-Zone. It is MUCH less of a pain.
