119They say that getting there is half the battle, but that's certainly not true with seeking the crystal skull on Sloth Island. The parts of the temple above ground are only a fraction of the structure, the rest hidden beneath and filled with traps and puzzles galore. If King is going to stand a chance of emerging successful and alive, he'll need to explore every nook and cranny of this ancient building. He must do this not only because he won't find the crystal skull otherwise, but because he currently doesn't have a way back to the rest of the jungle and finding one would be nice.
Joe isn't the first person who's been sent there by Dr, Ironstein, so he also needs to look out for those that came before him. Some of them may yet live and they'll likely have few qualms with killing Joe if they find him. Floda are the least of his troubles now as there are forces in play within the temple that are unlike any Joe has ever seen before.
