Let's Play Flight of the Amazon Queen #13: Sloth Island
124To ensure the safety of the amazons - provided of course the doctor keeps his word, which I still doubt - Joe needs to travel to Sloth Island and retrieve the Crystal Skull that's meant to be there. That we're being told to retrieve it means that there either is one that we'll inevitably find or that it's a deathtrap designed to get us out of the way, but if that was the case surely shooting Joe would've been simpler.
Regardless, once we've got some suitable bait for the ferryman we'll be heading to the largest puzzle area we've encountered so far, where we'll need to use all the items we have and many more we'll find there to succeed. Perhaps we may also find out more about the mysteries of the jungle and why this item the doctor seeks is so important to him taking over the world.
It's either that or the deathtrap theory and I don't think that one holds up to scrutiny. That said, Trader Bob's business doesn't hold up to scrutiny either and yet it's there and doing fantastic business I must say, mostly thanks to Joe buying random items from him that'll surely come in handy someday, maybe.
