Let's Play Flight of the Amazon Queen #18: Retrieving the Crystal Skull
With the crystal skull within our grasp, surely everything is going to reach a reasonable conclusion. Dr. Ironstein will keep his end of the bargain and free the amazons and in return, we'll hand him the one item he surely needs to take over the world with his army of dinosaur people.
...Wait, something isn't quite right about this ending, as if it would result in the bad guy winning and the world being doomed. Joe kinds of likes the world not doomed and as luck would have it, there's still a little more of the game to come. This is because the game is built upon a number of cliches, one of them being that the villain never keeps their word if going back on it will help them get closer to achieving their maniacal goals. The stakes are raised, the peril grows greater and most important of all, we have more puzzles to solve!
Even better then that, we have puzzles to solve that I could've solved ages ago but didn't because I didn't connect the dots on simple puzzles and when I did, I missed a few steps in the logic of them. Such is the nature of puzzles, eh?
