The recent events for the Smith family have turned their lives upside down but things have been settled for some time. It wouldn't take much for their lives to be turned upside down again however; one of the adults losing their job, a random event of profound impact or a powerful spell are just a few things which'd shake things up considerably. There's one thing that I didn't mention specifically there because Dave and Yvette have had it happen before.

Some events have more then one way of occurring with varying degrees of rarity. Their impact is no less dramatic regardless of the source and this one will once again throw their lives up the air for the foreseeable future. We're also going to need a spend a lot more money in the next few days, so it's a good thing Dave and Yvette have been saving for a rainy day.

There's no cause for despair however. On the contrary, now's a time for great joy and happiness... and very little sleep.
