For all my years of playing Minecraft on and off, I’ve yet to see all the biomes and points of interest that can spawn. Some of them were only there in particular builds and those ones I missed out on will forever remain lost to me unless I go back to a previous version of the game – something that’s certainly possible, but something I’ll likely do. Actively trying to seek out one type of biome can be a frustrating experience, however, all due to how biomes are spawned.
Some are far more common than others and you’ll see plenty of forests alongside deserts and mountainous regions. There are uncommon ones you’ll see every once in a while, rare ones you might see one or two of if you travel about a lot and some things which you’re truly lucky to find once in multiple spawns. When such things happen it’s naturally fantastic but if you focus too much on seeking out the incredibly rare, you’ll lose sight of all the other beautiful places you find along the way. Take the time to appreciate that which is all around you and you may find wonderful things far closer to home.
