9So for some idiot reason I confuse "Lady-in-waiting" with "Maid/Matron of honor" WHOOPS. Still, the thought of dragons getting married is kinda funny.
Another error which I didn't catch until editing was that I don't recall a cider source for the Norse Ratatoskr's GENDER.
Also, I feel a little like a jerk. Growing up, all old religions (though mainly greek, roman, and egyptian) were referred to as "Mythology", and thus my use of the term is force of habit. I find it a bit, well, wrong, to treat an old religion as any level of "fake" (regardless of your own relgious standing or lack thereof), when religion itself is still a widespread practiced concept to this very day and still effects laws in some regards.
I have 2 friends who, in at least some capacity, do worship the Old Norse Gods, thus it hits a bit close to home. It is not my intention in any capacity to proclaim anyone's personal religious beliefs as being in any way invalid. Thus my own of the word Mythology, as much as I curse myself for the slip ups, is mostly due to upringing and common terminology, with malice or disdain in any way shape or form being not intended in the slightest. I normally would not get uptight over such a matter (being larely non-religious myself), but with 2 friends who practice, I feel my accidental slip ups are unintentionally disrespectful to their beliefs.
Everying should be free to worship whomever and whatever they wish without prejudice, provided they aren't using those beliefs to oppress others and allow them their own right to their own worship.
Also, Freya had a charriot pulled by CATS. I mean, how badass is that??
But seriously, several days of the week name name roots in Old Gods, two of which are Norse. Man, do I really feel like an ignorant as now!
