Let’s Play INSIDE #10: The Journey Ends, Yet the Questions Remain
136This is a blind playthrough of the game. As such, please avoid posting puzzle solutions or plot spoilers, so as to not spoil the experience for me or other viewers who haven’t played the game.
Deep within this laboratory lies a huge version of the orb-like devices we’ve been turning off as we find them throughout our journey. We’ve also found a good number of worrying experiments that have been going on but all of that pales in comparison to whatever most of the staff are watching in that observation chamber. The camera angles there were ingenious, hiding the identity of whatever is within while allowing us to see the terrified curiosity of those peering within. All this works to build up your own curiosity and the dawning reality that we’ll be entering that room before this game is done.
Such is the shroud of mystery that the game has veiled over events, one can’t be sure exactly what is at the end of our journey, save that it likely isn’t going to end as we want it to. Hopes of us fleeing to a safe haven where we won’t be hunted down ebbed away as the game progressed, yet still I’ve continued on. Perhaps there’s still a glimmer of that fading hope that I cling to or perhaps, more likely, we move forward because there is nothing left behind us, so onwards we tread into the unknown, whatever that may be.
