Welcometo part one of my playthrough of Jenny LeClue: Detectivu.
You play Jenny, a too-smart-for-her-age teen? That wants nothing more than to be the worlds best detective. She lives in Arthurton, a perfect town where nothing truly bad ever happens, so she's sort of short on options. That is until there's a murder that her mother is suspected of doing. Then Jenny get's all she wanted, and more.
All of this is actually being driven through a meta-narrative of an author who's book sales are dwindling, as people have become bored with the franchise. Pocked by his publisher, he aims to give the people what they want, which is apparently murder?
The game is very stylish, with decent voice work and a really good backing soundtrack. There is also a decision tree that may or may not have a strong baring the story, I haven't figured that out yet. Oh, and there's a bazillion collectables, because of course there is.
