Welcome to part one of my playthrough of Killer Frequency!
You are Forrest Nash, a radio host who's previous life has gone up in flames. Now you're in the middle of nowhere, America, trying to rebuild your career. You're running the night show on 189.16 The Scream, and things get off to a pretty rocky start. You start the show only to find out that all the 911 calls have been routed to you, because the sheriff's been murdered, and the deputy is next. The local 911 dispatch needs your help to escape, and further more than that, help anyone else that needs it whilst she goes for help.
Oh and did I mention a serial killer called The Whistling Man is apparently back for revenge? Because that's happening too.
That is the premise to Killer Frequency: an 80s era Horror DJ puzzle game. You have to run the show with the help of Patty, your producer, and at the same time help stop people from getting murdered. Or maybe not! It's your show. Each potential victim has their own situation, and it's your job to guide them to salvation or ruin.
Honestly I don't want to say too much for fear of spoiling it, but I can say: I am really, really enjoying this game so far.
