Let's Play Malcolm's Revenge #05: Escaping Kyrandia
145Our previous efforts paid off with the creation of two fish cream sandwiches through a long and laborious process that was far more complicated than it needed to be. These sandwiches appear to be a desired commodity in Kyrandia considering that a talking statue we encountered loves them, so there's a high chance that someone else we encounter along our travels might want one too. This unfortunately means that Malcolm won't be able to discover if he's grown to like the taste of fish cream sandwiches, though from his reaction to the machine that makes this might not be a bad thing.
We're pretty much explored all that we can of Kyrandia and we haven't found any good starting points for our revenge there, so it's probably best that we leave as soon as possible. There are a variety of methods we can choose from to leave, each on a different part of the sliding scale of absurdity. While we could do something terribly mundane like hitching a ride with the circus or getting captured and seeing if there's some way from within jail that we can leave Kyrandia, that's far beneath a terrifying villain like Malcolm. Only the most ridiculous and implausible of escape methods will do, hidden away behind the most unlikely of interactions.
Will I return back to the beginning of the game to show off the other methods of escape? Perhaps once I've finished if there's interest. For now however, the lands before Kyrandia await, far away from prying eyes that would wish for Malcolm to fail in his scheming. Will these places be as silly as Kyrandia? Most likely, but that's a given in this game series.
