We move on to stage 2, Dark Forest, where I lose not one but *two* continues, though more because of carelessness than any particularly difficult level design choices. You get the first special outfit here, which is a magic turban and cape that allows you to shoot magic (and stay underwater indefinitely). It starts out with a standard forest level, then one where you swim through a hollow tree, then one with lots of stump enemies with clubs, and then the boss level. The boss is a giant spider that can shoot webs at you. Also, I turned 21 yesterday, so yay for that, I guess.
