This is part 5 of my playthrough of Moonglow Bay.

I have "beaten" yet another boss! in that I got some big fish to trap themselves apart from one another. It was an interesting sequence with absolutely banger music. I kinda wish it had gone on longer. I then learn a shocking (and apparently documented in the help section of the game) revelation: cooking multiple fish for one dish only contributes 1 point of learning to the dish. You would think making 8 of something would make you 8x better or, I dunno, like at least 4x but nope! So I end up wasting _a lot_ of purple fish trying to unlock a recipe, only to find i was thwarting myself.

I was not amused.

I also start investing into the town in earnest and find out that doing so actually unlocks cool fishing gear! so now that's something else we gotta do.
