Let's Play: Primorida - Part 1 - Everything is brown
0This is part 1 of my playthrough of Primordia.
After the rise and fall of man, the world is left a rusted out husk, and the only thing left are the robots we created before our end. Many years have passed, and man is now more myth than reality, and even the robots are starting to fade. You play as Horatio: a bot just trying to survive out in the Dunes with his little robot son Crispin. Then a big ol' jerk shows up, shoots Horatio, and steals his power core. And then it gets worse.
Primordia is an adventure game made by Wormwood Studios and published by Wadjet Eye Games. It's from 2012, so the pixels are indeed showing, but it's still extremely good and playable. Featuring many voice actors you'd be familiar with if you've played anything from Wadjet Eye, a very interesting aesthetic, and compelling world building that it just dumps you into the middle of. You don't understand everything and you're not really meant to.
My one word of warning: Primordia does not hold your hand so much for the puzzles. I got stuck a couple times, forced to really think out some of my next steps. It's not a bad thing, but it is worth noting to anyone looking to pick it up
