Let's Play New Super Mario Bros. Wii - Part 4: This Is a Castle, And It Is Roy's One
This time, we're finishing world 2...and kind of struggling. Honestly, this episode was so sloppy that I should have re-recorded it. My throat was pretty congested as well when I was doing this.
2-4: One of the more infamous levels in the game. It has a wind gimmick, and the wind blows hard and frequently. It's kind of like if Commando Man's stage wasted even more of your time. Also, I definitely overthought how to get the secret exit here (and it doesn't help that the secret exit both requires a helicopter suit and is at the very end of the level).
2-5: Another Yoshi level, as well as the first one with Lakitu. This one also has Pokeys, which turn into fruit for some reason (and can be eaten whole with Yoshi as a result).
2-6: An athletic level, most of which is spent on a large rotating square platform.
2-Castle: Roy's castle brings back a gimmick that hadn't shown up in a long time: the pick-a-path maze castles from the original Super Mario Bros. It's kind of a neat throwback, though it's over pretty quickly once you know where to go. Roy himself gets to climb into pipes on the ceiling this time around, but he's still not much of a threat.
