Let's Play On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 (Part 6)
I mention in my first video that I messed up rendering one of the parts. This is that part. This is rendered how I normally do it but really doesn't look good for this game in particular. The rest of the parts are rendered in widescreen HD thankfully. Sorry guys.
So anywho, I show off beating the first row of coliseum encounters and the reward while showing off the awesome power of upgraded Molotovs. We do some dimension hopping then find more class pins and unlock triple classing. So lets talk about the class pins.
Diva: An odd self support type class that revolves around selfish acts. The Diva's abilities involve things that harm the rest of the party while buffing the user. This ranges from draining MP or stats from a party member to having attacks that harm your party while harming the enemy. Gets bonus Speed (*drools*) and gets an awesome passive as a final ability.
Masochist: A physical class that revolves around heavy damage while harming the user. Great if you just want the bonus Strength stats.
Dinosorcerer: A morphing class that can act as a tank or damage class. Morphing makes you lose control of the user while unlocking the unique moves dependent on what you morph into. It lasts for a few rounds. There is a fast offense type, a tank type, a heavy offense type, and a dark type. Gets bonus HP.
Delusionist: Umm... a class? The Delusionist is a weird class. Some spells debuff the user and the target. There is a spell that heals then poisons. There is a spell that buffs a random stat. The class is just all over the place. But it does get a huge boost in Magic Defense.
Gardenar: A summoning support class. The Gardenar has the ability to summon a garden that acts just like a summon. It appears on the CT bar and when it gets its turn it will do its effect. These effects range from healing everyone, harming everyone, buffing everyone, mass interupts, and giving everyone MP. Despite the description saying Everyone, it seems to just randomly pick a number of party members and gives the effect to them. Oh and you get buffs to Defense as you level this.
Apocalypt: A delayed mass nuker class. This class can summon a prophecy which is like a one time slow moving summon. What the Apocalypt can do with this prophecy though is stack multiple prophecies onto the same summon as long as it is a different prophecy (can't just stack the same one over and over). Then when the summon hits its action, all those effects go off the same time. Its a weird class but its much too slow in my opinion for the types of combat you go through. But hey, you get buffs to Magic just having the pin equiped.
