Stage 4 - Fog

Gameplay: Oh boy, fourth stage is the part where the game is now going starting to be hard. It's night again, so you must return to using mushrooms and other cheaper plants. But the real problem in this stage will be the fog that will cover up to two-thirds of your lawn, in which both plants and zombies are difficult to see. And the more you progress, the greater will fog be. New plants you'll get to use here are Sea-shroom that is same as Puff-shroom, only for water and recharges slower than Puff-shroom, Plantern that can iluminate 5x7 squares of your lawn, and let you see through fog, Cactus that shoots spikes that can pop balloons of Balloon Zombies, Blover that can remove fog temporarily and instantly kill all Balloon Zombies, Split Pea that shoots one pea at front and two at the back, Starfruit that shoots stars in five directions: one to the left, one going up, one going down, one going to the upper right (gradient of 1/2), and the last going lower right (gradient of -1/2). Pumpkin that can protect any plants that is within it's shell and Magnet-Shroom which can remove metal objects from zombies, which allows it to eiher weaken their durability or completely disable their specialities (DANGER: Useless against Zombonis because even though Zombonis are made of metal, they are too big for Magnet-Shroom to steal it, also Zombies driving Zomboni die together with Zomboni), but once it does, it needs to recharge before it can steal another metal item. New Zombies you will encounter in the Fog levels are Jack-in-the-box Zombie, which can kill all of your plants (and himself) in its range if not killed immediately, use Hypno-Shroom turn his ability of destroying your plants against zombies, or Magnet-Shroom to remove his music box from it. Balloon Zombie who can fly over you plants (but not over the Lawn Movers, Pool Cleaners or Roof Cleaners) which makes him immune to most attacks. Best plant against Balloon Zombie is Blover due to it's ability to instatly kill it. Digger Zombie who can tunnel undeground, right under your plants and then resurface on the left side of your lawn, eating your plants from behind. Digger Zombie can be tricky to deal with. Magnet-Shroom can steal its pickaxe, but you must pay close attention to its current location, also Magnet-Shroom must not carry some other metal item, otherwise Digger Zombie will be able to bypass it. Potato-Mine can kill it even when underground, but it must be armed to do so. Squash and Jalapeno are probably two best plants for getting rid of Digger Zombie as they can kill him in an instant from any direction, also use Pumpkin to protect your back column and give your plants more time to kill it. Pogo Zombie who can jump over your plants, repetively. Use Tall-Nut to stop it from jumping, Magnet-Shroom to steal its pogo stick, or Snow Pea and Ice-Shroom to slow it down. During final Fog level (level 4-10), there will be storm instead of fog, that will make the screen pitch black between the flashes of lightning illuminating the yard.

Spoilers: Fifth Fog Zombie is Yeti Zombie, that will appear in level 4-10 only if you decide to replay entire Adventure Mode. Yeti Zombie has high durability, but appears rarely and will run away after a while. If Yeti Zombie is killed, it will drop four diamonds.
