Description almost too long...

Elite Four Lorelei (1:52) - Ice Type Specialist

- Dewgong Level 52 w/ Thick Fat Ability
Surf, Ice Beam, Hail, Safeguard
- Cloyster Level 51 w/ Shell Armour Ability
Spikes, Dive, Hail, Protect
- Slowbro Level 52 w/ Oblivious Ability
Ice Beam, Surf, Amnesia, Yawn
- Jynx Level 54 w/ Oblivious Ability
DoubleSlap, Ice Punch, Lovely Kiss, Attract
- Lapras Level 54 w/ Water Absorb Ability
Body Slam, Confuse Ray, Surf, Ice Beam

Even though Ice is weak to Fire, 4 of Lorelei's Pokémon are part Water type, making Electric types the best option here. If Slowbro starts using Amnesia, make sure to use physical attacks. This battle should not be too difficult.

Elite Four Bruno (14:15) - Fighting Type Specialist

- Onix Level 51 w/ Rock Head Ability
Earthquake, Rock Tomb, Iron Tail, Roar
- Hitmonchan Level 53 w/ Keen Eye Ability
Sky Uppercut, Mach Punch, Rock Tomb, Counter
- Hitmonlee Level 53 w/ Limber Ability
Mega Kick, Foresight, Brick Break, Facade
- Onix Level 54 w/ Rock Head Ability
Double-Edge, Iron Tail, Earthquake, Sand Tomb
- Machamp Level 56 w/ Guts Ability
Bulk Up, Cross Chop, Scary Face, Rock Tomb

You will want a Psychic type for this instead of a Flying type, since almost all of his Pokémon know Rock Tomb. Be sure to bring a Water or Grass type aswell in order to deal with the Onix.

Elite Four Agatha (20:27) - Ghost Type Specialist

- Gengar Level 54 w/ Levitate Ability
Confuse Ray, Shadow Punch, Double Team, Toxic
- Golbat Level 54 w/ Inner Focus Ability
Confuse Ray, Bite, Air Cutter, Poison Fang
- Haunter Level 54 w/ Levitate Ability
Mean Look, Curse, Hypnosis, Dream Eater
- Arbok Level 56 w/ Intimidate Ability
Bite, Sludge Bomb, Screech, Iron Tail
- Gengar Level 58 w/ Levitate Ability
Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Hypnosis, Nightmare

Either take a Psychic type Pokémon like Alakazam to sweep her team, or take a Pokémon which knows Shadow Ball, Bite or Crunch. If you do this, take an electric type to deal with the Golbat, and a Ground-Type to deal with the Arbok. This battle isn't particularly difficult, just annoying.

Elite Four Lance (31:36) - Dragon Type Specialist

- Gyarados Level 56 w/ Intimidate Ability
Bite, Dragon Rage, Twister, Hyper Beam
- Dragonair Level 54 w/ Shed Skin Ability
Safeguard, Outrage, Dragon Rage, Hyper Beam
- Dragonair Level 54 w/ Shed Skin Ability
Safeguard, Outrage, Thunder Wave, Hyper Beam
- Aerodactyl Level 58 w/ Rock Head Ability
Wing Attack, AncientPower, Scary Face, Hyper Beam
- Dragonite Level 60 w/ Inner Focus Ability
Safeguard, Outrage, Wing Attack, Hyper Beam

His Gyarados and two Dragonairs (you can't tell the difference between them) aren't too bad; they are just there to weaken you against his stronger Pokémon. Thankfully Aerodactyl's ability is Rock Head - this means you won't be wasting too many Ethers because of Pressure. Dragonite is incredibly powerful, but if it uses Outrage, heal for a few turns and rely on it hitting itself in confusion. If Dragonite uses Hyper Beam, use the next turn to use your strongest attack (best option would be Blizzard or Ice Beam).
Blizzard or Ice Beam are almost necessary for this. I used Blizzard, but the higher accuracy of Ice Beam makes it more reliable. However, don't worry about using Ethers to restore Blizzard's PP. I got lucky and all 5 Blizzards hit.

Champion (Rival) (39:36)

- Pidgeot Level 59 w/ Keen Eye Ability
Aerial Ace, FeatherDance, Sand-Attack, Whirlwind
- Alakazam Level 57 w/ Synchronize Ability
Psychic, Reflect, Future Sight, Recover
- Rhydon Level 57 w/ Lightningrod Ability
Rock Tomb, Take Down, Earthquake, Scary Face

- Gyarados w/ Intimidate Ability*
Hydro Pump, Dragon Rage, Bite, Thrash
- Arcanine w/ Intimidate Ability*
Flamethrower, ExtremeSpeed, Bite, Roar
- Exeggutor w/ Chlorophyll Ability*
Sleep Powder, Light Screen, Giga Drain, Egg Bomb

- Charizard w/ Blaze Ability
Fire Blast, Aerial Ace, Slash, Fire Spin
- Blastoise w/ Torrent Ability
Rain Dance, Hydro Pump, Bite, Skull Bash
- Venusaur w/ Overgrow Ability
Growth, Sunny Day, SolarBeam, Synthesis

* If this Pokémon's primary type is the same as your starter's primary type, it will be at level 59. If this Pokémon's primary type is not very effective against your starter's primary type, it will be at level 61. If this Pokémon's primary type is super effective against your starter's primary type, it will not be on his team; instead, the starter of the same type will be used.

From facing your rival so many times you should know how to be able to defeat him. Out of the three starters that your rival can have Charizard seems to be the strongest and Venusaur seems to be the weakest. Sorry if you chose Bulbasaur, but I guess that's what happens when you go the easy starting route...
