This is a blind playthrough of the game. As such, please avoid posting puzzle solutions or plot spoilers, so as to not spoil the experience for me or other viewers who haven’t played the game.

It’s fair to say that Wheatley’s master plan may have had a couple of flaws in it, first and foremost being that it wasn’t a plan, so much as a desperate gambit. That we accidentally reactivated GlaDOS in our bumbling efforts to be away from the laboratory is the icing on a cake made of anger, more anger and copious amounts of fire. Fortunately, the AI doesn’t appear to hold a grudge for what we did previously and has decided not to kill us.

Unfortunately, the previously statement was a lie. She most definitely holds a deep-seated, eternal grudge and is going to get her revenge in what she’s best at: subjecting us to an eternity of testing. What’s worse, she’s now wise to the tricks we pulled previously to escape, closing off our only avenue of freedom and condemning us to a lifetime and beyond of room after room of puzzles, turrets, lasers, doom and taunting.

I’d like to say that us having the fully featured portal gun back is the silver lining to an otherwise stormy cloud, but since that is the thing which is allowing us to undergo tests for all time, it’s simply another, even more thunderous storm cloud accompanying the first. It’d take a miracle for us to outsmart GlaDOS this time and sadly, we’re fresh out of those.

Cake too, but there was never any of that to begin with, was there?
