Lets Play: "Slay The Spire" Part 10 (The Watcher Ascension 0 Run 2)

NOW THIS WAS A DECK HOLY SHIT! We started out the run with the simple goal of getting to a campfire as quickly as possible to upgrade our Eruption so it was much easier to rotate in and out of wrath stance.. and boy did it snowball quickly. It almost felt like the game was making sure I would win this run. We kept the deck as thin as we could, only picking up a few cards early like Cut Through Fate, to cycle through the deck quickly and find the key stance cards we wanted and thin the deck, and a solid damage dealing card. We also snag an early Reach Heaven as our big damage dealing card with our deck being so thin, but throughout the run we grab a few key cards and relics that really influenced the power in this run.Things like Rushdown to cycle through the deck quickly whenever we enter wrath form. We got TWO copies of Talk to the Hand giving us block on attacks which REALLY helped our defenses SO much. We got a Wallop to gain a large chunk of defense when we attack in wrath stance, and we also got a nice Fear No Evil and Meditate to exit wrath stance and enter calm, but also gather back the proper cards we just used and set up our following turns even better. We also got the center piece of this deck, and what I'm naming this deck after, Judgment.. A huge finishing card that really just finishes fights. Finally right at the end, we take a random event that UPGRADES ALL OF OUR CARDS so everything in this deck eventually was upgraded! It was CRAZY just how strong we were at the final fight! I have named this deck "Divine Judgment" for all the foes we smited along the way up the tower. What an amazing deck, and one to show me the true power of this character!
