It's time to head for Avalar and start up a new project! Welcome to Spyro 2 : Ripto's Rage for the PS1. In our second adventure with the titular purple dragon, it's up to us to help the denizens of Avalar fight the tyrannical Ripto. Along the way, there will be plenty of Orbs, Talismans, and shiny shiny gems to gather. So let's get right to it and check out the first stage, Glimmer. Normally, you'd have to do some backtracking to finish this stage completely... but there are ways around that.
