Deeper within SR388, the Metroids have undergone a new mutation. It's time to face off against the Omega Metroid. These ones are kind of weird. In some ways, they're similar to Zetas, yet due to the fact that you can actually do more damage should you attack from behind, it's theoretically possible to defeat them with fewer shots. Of course, they're not very cooperative about letting you do so, and not as easy to get out of the way of their lunges. Also on the odd balance side of things, there are actually more Omegas than there were Zetas. Kind of an odd thing, that... However, with only a single Metroid to go, our mission nears completion...
