0We arrive back in Zalissya in time for our first in-game emission, making for a good opportunity to hunker down, trade, and take stock. The road north is now open, but we've got a long hike to find Nestor, described by Solder as "the kingpin of Garbage." Fortunately, Richter has a contact in that region, holed up in an old detention camp; ominous foreshadowing, perhaps, but a more precise destination at the very least. Time to make one last pass for stashes and head deeper into the Zone.
It's not exactly smooth sailing, with a few diversions and some nasty new anomalies. As luck would have it, we net our first sniper rifle after an exchange of unpleasantries - and from talking with Richter's man, we're gonna need it...
