I recommend leveling to at least 20 before fighting the boss so that all the characters can learn new skills.

Boss: Water Coiler [ 8:17 ]

You can't target its weakness, which means its best to save your Herbal Tea for Miri, who has the most SP.

Don't examine the tower yet, since this will cause you to get ambushed by Space Mage, a powerful bonus boss. I recommend saving that for after you get Aran and after you beat the Hidden Cave.

Be sure to re-enter the Bridge Cave, where Ernest rebuilt the bridge. This will provide a shortcut back to town if you need to buy items.
