In this episode, Sebastian awakens back in Safe Haven after experiencing a flashback of memories that seem not to be his own. After gazing into a portrait that has suddenly appeared in Safe Haven, Sebastian is transported to a place that seems to be Safe Haven, but is entirely different in appearance. After heading towards the usual mirror to teleport back out, Sebastian suddenly finds himself alone in a field, with a lone sunflower ahead of him. Walking towards it, he is confronted by Ruvik, who teleports him outside of a mysterously familiar looking mansion. While exploring inside, Sebastian realizes he must recreate Ruvik's experiments on the human brain if he is to find Dr. Jimenez and Leslie.
