In this episode, Joseph and Sebastian are thrown from the bus after the crash, and the bus plummets to the street level below, leaving Kidman's fate uncertain. As they begin to search for Kidman, Joseph spies a subway train sticking out of the ground, and the two theorize that it could be a way to Beacon Mental Hospital. While exploring the ruins of the building, Sebastian shoots the cable of an elevator blocking his path, but just as he finishes crossing over it, it falls down the shaft, leaving him and Joseph separated. Sebastian makes his way through the building, finally spotting Joseph in a kitchen area, who is fleeing The Keeper. Ruvik appears and transforms the kitchen into a trap-laden maze, and after Sebastian finally escapes, he finds Joseph escaping The Keeper's grasp using a dumbwaiter. Sebastian does battle with The Keeper while waiting for the dumbwaiter to come back, and after a daring escape, finds himself at the ground floor of the building. In a park nearby, he spots Kidman with Leslie, and Kidman draws her gun, threatening to kill Leslie. Sebastian intervenes with the help of Joseph, but a piercing sound disruptes the rescue, and Leslie runs away. In the confusion, Kidman accidentally shoots Joseph, and chases after Leslie while the ground gives way and Sebastian falls underneath the park's playground.
