In this episode Sebastian finally catches up to Joseph, who has found them some transportation. Their reunion, however, is interrupted by Kidman, who seems panicked and frantically tries to start the bus that Joseph found. The reason for her fear is soon apparent, as the bus is attacked by Heresy, a gigantic, mutated spider. The trio flee the spider in the bus, taking a sharp turn that sends the monster crashing into a building, but their escape is blocked by an oil tanker. As the bus comes to a stop, the trio is attacked by a horde of gun and projectile wielding Haunted from above. With a hail of gunfire from Joe, Kid, and Seb, the Haunted are defeated, leaving a final enemy near the tanker. A well placed bullet from Joseph kills the monster, and the tanker explodes, clearing their escape, but the danger is far from passed. Heresy returns, and a high speed chase ensues. The bus speeds beneath an overpass, and Heresy is smashed against it, finally defeating it. Mere moments later, a sniper bullet tears through the bus, striking Joseph, and leaving him critically injured. Kidman spots an ambulance that may contain the supplies needed to treat Joseph's wound, but her offer to retrieve it is rejected by Sebastian, who tells her to defend the bus while he goes in her stead. As Sebastian fights his way through more gun-toting Haunted, he finds a clotting agent in the ambulance and makes his way back to the bus, but is impeded by a Haunted piloting a truck-mounted gun. Rushing into danger, Sebastian takes control of the gun, and mows down wave after wave of attacking Haunted. With the mob finally defeated, Sebastian returns to the bus and treats Joseph. The trio make their escape, but Ruvik appears in the bus's path and uses his mysterious powers to fling the vehicle aside, causing it to crash into a building.
