This time, we're starting things off with level 3, The Elephant Graveyard, and holy fork, are the enemies tanky if you're playing on any difficulty but easy. The hyena that served as a boss of level 1 is a regular enemy in this level, and they come in multiples and in conjunction with the other enemy type, the vultures, which fly around, are hard to hit safely, and just generally love to be a nuisance. There's only one checkpoint here, too. The level isn't really that long, but the sheer amount of time you spend fighting enemies makes it end up taking a lot more time than it looks.
In contrast, level 4, The Stampede, is basically an auto-scroller where you run toward the screen, and it barely takes any time at all.
