In this Let's Play video, you will see me play The Scouring (Demo). The Scouring plays like a traditional RTS (Real Time Strategy) game similar to Warcraft and Starcraft series. At first glance, this looks like a cone of Warcraft (Warcraft 1, 2 and 3) BUT there are more modern updated mechanics added to this game. The biggest feature is the "AI Assistant" mode that let's you use the AI to help automate your economy while you focus on managing your army. It's like playing Co-Op with an AI (Artificial Intellience). Your units can also enter buildings to defend them, acting like guard towers. This is somewhat similar to Age of Empires, Age of Mythology, and Diplomacy Is Not An Option, where you can let workers or units return to the Town Hall and shooting arrows to defend the base. The DEMO currently has only 2 maps (1 vs 1) and (6 Free For All). You could actually setup teams in the larger map size. You can play in Singleplayer mode or Multiplayer mode. What is also different from Warcraft, is the day and night phases, where at night undead (Skeletons) will come out of the woods and attack everybody like in "They Are Billions", "Age of Darkness: The Final Stand", and "Diplomacy Is Not An Option". Overall, I enjoyed the game mechanics and graphics! I definitely recommend checking out this game if you're into fast paced RTS games.
