There aren't many places anymore that have cultist presence but now that I've taken a lot more territory the places that do are right next to our bases. We still need to get more bases so it's time to begin pushing to get more territories in the states which has a fair few bases really close together. Those bases can be linked with only a few tracks with the downside of not having many resources split between them. The sheer research and manufacturing boost we'll gain from that will certainly help our efforts.

The cultists at this point aren't that much of a threat at all unless you blindly charge into a huge amount of them (and even with Gaston that's debatable). They do start using plasma weapons at this point though as well as the sonic guns so they can still surprise you with a huge amount of damage dealt very quickly. Even if they aren't too dangerous it always pays to be a little cautious.
