I never gave the shapeshifter a decent chance when I first played through the game and I'm regretting the fact that I didn't use it more. They have a good variety of cards including some very nice defense and offense cards of both physical and magic. It also has an unblockable attack as well as a good healing card, all as standard. Starting with Growth I may not seem like much but it means that equipment you get is that much more effective; some of the later growth cards are pretty impressive. All in all it's a very all-round class that has a little bit of everything.

For me however the fact that it starts with a block 3 physical card makes the class extremely good. In this area there are a lot of enemies that use physical damage cards so having the ability to block a lot of damage early on can save your life. Also with armour I you have two ways to block huge amounts of damage.

Rest assured we'll be using shapeshifter quite a bit in the future.
