Continuing on from the previous part, I return to waterfall.
Before talking to Papyrus outside Undyne's house, I do some shopping, and call Papyrus at various different screens to get his thoughts on the area.
Talking to Papyrus outside Undyne's house leads to him trying to get us to become friends with Undyne.
Undyne isn't happy to see us again, but tries to keep her bloodlust to herself as we are a guest in her house.
After Papyrus excuses himself by throwing himeself out of the window, (That was unexpected!) we are left alone with Undyne.
Undyne asks us why we are here, and upon figuring out that we want to be friends, proceeds to mock us by saying that we will never be friends.
That's when Papyrus returns briefly to voice his disappointment that Undyne wasn't up to this challenge.
Now seeing it as a challenge, Undyne says that we will be best friends.
But this isn't very straight forward, of course!
Undyne is a bit insane, destroying her own table when we try to get up to pick what drink we'd like her to make.
And as we share a really hot cup of tea together, Undyne says that we remind us of someone due to us being a total weenie. (Her words, not mine!)
She tells us a bit about her past, and how she could never defeat Asgor even though he would never fight back.
She also tells us about her relationship with Papyrus, revealing that they are friends, and that Papyrus is too nice to be a member of the guard.
Getting back to the more insane side of her personality, she decides to give us a cooking lesson due to that being what made her become better friends with Papyrus.
She wants us to approach cooking with extreme violence, but I go with the opposite.
This cooking lesson eventually ends with her house catching fire! (That escalated quickly!)
Undyne then ends up challenging us one more time to a fight, telling us to hit her first with our best shot.
After being hit by a very weak attack, Undyne finally stops, saying she doesn't want to fight us either.
And so after all that chaos, Undyne finally becomes our friend.
She then leaves her burning house to go hang out with Papyrus. (She doesn't even try to put out the fire or anything!)
She tells us to give Papyrus a call from time to time, saying that she will answer us as well as she will be hanging out with him.
So moving on from that, I call Papyrus at various different screens to get both his and Undyne's thoughts on the area.
I also head back to Snowdin to get some new dialogue from some of the locals.
Before talking to Undyne and Papyrus outside Papyrus' house, I find a dog shrine behind the fridge in the house.
I donate a fair bit of money here to get a couple of trophies.
The dog uses this money to buy various pointless things that get added to the shrine.
Moving on from that, I talk to Papyrus and Undyne before saving the game.
They seem to be pretty good friends despite their different personalities!
So with another friend made, what will happen next? Find out in the next part!
