Continuing on from the previous part, I ramble on for five minutes about my new headphones, and the music I made for the new year montage.
After rambling, I run away from Undyne as she launches many spears at me! (She is very hostile!)
Her attacks eventually knock us down into a garbage dump when she destroys some kind of bridge that we were standing on.
We then hear a voice asking us if we are okay, and what our name is.
Before this unknown voice can say their name, we wake up on a little bed of flowers without finding out who was speaking to us.
Moving on from that, I look at various piles of garbage as I make my way through the garbage dump.
After not attacking a practice dummy in the dump, it suddenly comes to life and attacks me!
It tells us that their cousin used to live in a dummy before we scared it away by talking to it!
With that nonsensical excuse for being angry at us, the dummy attacks.
The goal of this fight seems to be to dodge the attacks from their minions, and lead the projectiles towards them so they get hit instead.
I get a game over before eventually defeating this dummy boss.
The fight ends when an old friend shows up, scaring the dummy away with their acid rain.
This old friend is the friendly ghost I encountered early on in this let's play.
They apologise for scaring off the dummy, mistaking the fight as some kind of game between friends.
Before returning to their home, the ghost invites us to visit them if we want to.
And so I do just that.
This friendly ghost seems to really like music, having three different music tracks in their house that we can listen to. (One of them is just a new wave version of one of the other tracks!)
They also offer us a ghost sandwich, which we can't eat due to us not being a ghost!
I also lie down and stare into space with them, which is pretty trippy due to the room turning into a swirling image of the universe! (It's kind of neat!)
So after spending a fair bit of time hanging out with the friendly ghost, what will happen next? Find out in the next part! (Side note: I also included the Undertale section of the new year montage at the end of the video!)
