Continuing on from the previous part, I look around the area near Napstablook's house.
Aside from some other ghosts running some weird snail farm and race thing, (Not sure how you win at the snail race mini game!) it looks like Napstablook's neighbour is Undyne.
Undyne isn't home at the moment, which I guess is a good thing.
Another person I meet is some really old guy who runs a shop.
He tells us a bit about the history of this world, and sells some items.
After talking to him and buying some items, I head towards the next area.
After surviving a random encounter with a weird enemy, I get a game over on the next random encounter! (Fail!)
This means I had to talk to Napstablook again!
Well, I didn't have to! But I felt like I had to hang out with the friendly ghost guy again since I didn't save before then!
After hanging out with Napstablook, and stocking up on items again, I make my way further into the area that I got game over at. (I also end up backtracking a bit when I let a bird fly me over a river!)
I manage to survive the random encounters in this area and make it to another encounter with Undyne.
This encounter is soon interrupted by the friendly monster kid showing up.
Undyne drags them away, and we are able to keep going on to the next area.
Not long after being dragged away, the monster kid once again shows up to talk to us.
They say that they found out that we are a human, which makes us enemies.
They ask us to insult them so that they can insult us back without feeling bad.
But I refuse to do that, which makes them feel like a douche.
They then turn around to go home, but suddenly slip down a cliff!
After I help them up, the monster kid stands up for us as Undyne approaches us.
With Undyne backing down yet again, the monster kid leaves after saying goodbye, and I move on to the next screen.
Despite going the other way, Undyne is here waiting for us.
They think about telling us the history of this world, and why we need to die, but quickly ditch that idea in favour of taking us out right now!
