Part 1 of my playthrough of Unforeseen Incidents.

Unforeseen Incidents is, near as I can tell, a story about a dude that gets sucked into cracking a huge probably government (or government-adjacent) conspiracy. You play as Harper Pendrell, a down-on-his-luck dude living in Yelltown, who starts his day by helping the local scientist fix his laptop, and quickly get sidetracked into preventing chemical warfare experiments? I think? The jury's still out on that. Regardless, this is a point and click adventure game that has way more charm than I expected going in.

I don't really know where to start with this game. The art is fantastic and stylized; the music is extremely good; the character writing is some of the best I've seen in any adventure game; the plot is bonkers but I can just about be okay with it's wild beats because, you know, adventure game. The only thing I have any hang-up about is the use of the multi-tool, which seems like a cheap way to extend game time.

I'm super excited to see where this game goes.
