Let's Try Full Void (Part 1) - You're On Your Own, Kid [Evercade #187]

Evercade's first single-game cart. Is it worthy?
I think it's a good game! Definitely worthy of being on Evercade. And I bought the Special Edition, and I think the added goodies like the blue cartridge and the black box are really cool!
The game itself is said to be like Another World (which I liked what I played, but I didn't get very far *at all* in it xD). But so far, I like Full Void much more. It seems much more accessible to new players of adventure games than ANother World.
Not to say it's *easy* - apparently Full Void gets much, much harderafter the halfway point so that's going to be something to prepare for.
I love the checkpoint system! So you can basically stop at anytime you want to and not lose progress; that's always a huge plus with me (see saving in OoTMM and my forced hidden owl in MMR actorizer xD).
The achievement system is pretty cool too. It just adds some replayability to what is otherwise a relatively short game. Which brings me onto my next point...
I don't think, however, Full Void belongs on its own cart. I think it belongs on a dual cart at most. For the amount of gameplay there is, and the small replayability the achievements add, I just don't think the base $20 price tag is justified.
But that's beside the point. Full Void as a game is *good*. I like it a lot. And I look forward to continuing it! :D
I plan to play it live on stream too, which if I do then will be uploaded here to YouTube later as well. :)
