Trying Duke Nukem Collections 1 and 2 (Part 3) [Evercade #194]
Watch me Live!: https://www.twitch.tv/Joshua8600
And here's there final part of trying out the Duke Nukem games on Evercade!
Duke 3D is pretty good! I like how it is pretty different from Advance, kind of a puzzler too (at least to me it is).
I don't see how you were supposed to explode that wall without the RPG though...so I got stuck for quite a while before finding that secret, but required?, weapon.
And for some reason, I couldn't use that Portable Medkit I found near the end. It just wasn't working. Later on the Super Pocket and then later back on the VS after loading my save, it worked just fine. But trust me, it was not working.
But yeah, Duke 3D seems pretty fun like Duke Advance and, ifI can figure out where to go and what to do, I look forward to continuing it! xD
Then we get to Time to Kill...
It does go better than Land of the Babes did. Not by much, but it did go better.
Time to Kill just doesn't feel good to handle, is the best way to put it. It's slow, clunky, and *you can't even strafe when in 1st-person mode*.
My words at the end of the video describe my thoughts best rather than just repeating them here for Time to Kill.
But yeah, overall, Collection 1 was very fun to try out and I look forward to continuing those games!
Collection 2 - Advance aside - will need some more attention to try to get into, but they may just not be my kind of games. And even so, that's okay. :)
Games Played (with their Timestamps):
