Trying Duke Nukem Collections 1 and 2 (Part 1) [Evercade #192] [11/29/23 Stream]

And they have finally arrived!
Duke Nukem on Evercade is here, and I have to say, the presentation is stunning!
The remasters look *fantastic*, and Duke 1 REMASTERED is currently very fun to play with what I have experienced so far!
I have never played a Duke Nukem game, so I didn't know what to expect. It wasn't a platformer with optional collect-a-thon-like objectives, that's for sure. I can easily see myself getting sucked into this remaster!
Because switching to the OG style...it ain't my thing very quickly. The remaster is so much better!
But then we get to Land of the Babes on Collection 2...oh boy, where do I start?
The wrong place, it seems. I probably should have started with Training like I did with Citadel, but even then, the jumping controls seems to be gitchy there too? When it comes to the jumping and hanging section, of course.
So yeah, I barely made it anywhere in Level 1, and I didn't even fully complete Training (that Rumpus Room needs more time), but this game didn't necessarily get the fairest shot, I'll give it that.
But it didn't give me the opportunity to give it the fairest shot either.
But that's Part 1 of Duke Nukem Collections 1 and 2! I'm definitely excited for the other remaster, and am slightly concerned for the other PS1 titles. xD
