Trying Home Computer Heroes Collection 1 (Part 3) [Evercade #186]

And we reached Part 3, the part I was most nervous about.
Because 'simulator' and 'strategy' games are complex games (or *should* be, as I'll get to...) they don't really get done justice from a blind experience even after reading the manual a few times.
But Farming Simulator: C64 Edition is not what I would call complex. I would call it pointless - more pointless than Bridge Strike, even.
It doesn't do anything to engage you, and the controls when backing up your vehicle are atrocious. And to top it all of, there isn't even any music.
There just doesn't seem to be any point to playing this game, really. The literal definition of a time-waster, I guess? xD
Planet X2, on the other hand, is complex. And I am intrigued by it and I want to understand it.
I'll admit I was getting frustrated in the video because of the controls, but don't take that to mean I don't like the game. I was playing more of it on my Super Pocket after recording, and I am (slowly) starting to understand it a bit more.
It is a deep game. I don't think the maps are randomized though, which is a shame. But the difficulty levels make it so you kind of have 3 versions of each map, adding a lot of gameplay variety.
I do have one question...WHY DON'T THESE GAMES HAVE MUSIC? D:
But yeah, I like Planet X2. And it was a good game to end this cart off with. Overall, an alright(?) cart. Some games I like, a few I don't. I wish there were more games on it, but that's where Evercade is at these days.
Games Played (with their Timestamps):
1. Farming Simulator: C64 Edition (1:42)
2. Planet X2 (28:10)
