I picked this game up from the Racial Justice bundle from itch.io.

[ Speer ] is a puzzle platformer wherein your avatar has ... a spear. This spear must be used in various ways to solve the puzzles, be that using it to scale a wall, hit a switch, pop balloons, or explode red barrels. It's a simple premise, and it's executed very well.

I gave the game a solid try and got through the first 30 or so levels out of 100. Whilst the hitboxes can be a bit frustrating at times, overall the puzzles are clever, but not so clever as to be frustrating to deal with. The introduction of new mechanics is really well executed, and I never felt overly challenged or hand-held for too much of it.

My only real gripe with the game is that it only has 1 music loop per layer of levels. the first 25 levels I was treated to the same small music loop and it gets old, fast. Other than that, [ Speer ] is a cute puzzle game that you could spend a couple hours with and be pretty happy with the time spent
