NEWLY DISCOVERED SECRET - Two Player Mode in Super Punch Out!! - Retrogaming Easter Eggs #shorts
4,201In Super Punch Out!! for the SNES, there's a secret two- player mode that was just recently discovered by a Twitter user named Unlisted Cheats. This secret remained hidden for 28 years before finally being exposed yesterday.
There are actually two secrets here, but one leads to the other. On the title screen, hold Y and R on controller 2, and press Start on controller 1. This will take you to a secret screen where you can fight a single match against any character in the game.
On this screen however, once you select your opponent, you will first be taken to that character's info page. Here, you will hold Y and B on the second controller as you press Start on controller 1. If you input the inputs properly, now you will be in a two-player match featuring Little Mac and the character you selected.
That's right! You can play TWO PLAYERS in Super Punch-Out!!
