Lighty Returns - Speedrun Finale
0This section is basically Ultimate Lair and Final Boss for the game. Not REALLY necessary for a stat boost speedrun.
The Ultimate Lair does actually reward a stat boost, so I felt I had to include it as part of the speed run. I'm not entirely sure but I believe that by continuing on from here is past the point of no return, so you can't auto reset back to the beginning - you do actually have to finish the story off before you can New Game+ again.
So. At this point Lighty's stats are so colossal I can do a lot of stupid things and it makes no difference. Probably the biggest and silliest thing was casting lots of Thundara at Bhun-bhun and healing him with it as I didn't have any other magic bound going into the fight. I dunno, I must have been totally out of it at the time.
I really should try some other spells one day.
Also, I cut element and elementa farming out from the final area as, like the soul seed farming, it isn't necessary.
For the purposes of farming up stats super fast, this whole section isn't really needed at all, to be honest. Even the reward from Ultimate Lair is so-so at best - about the same as other quests you can do on Day 2.
