BEHOLD DUDES AND DUDETTES!!! Our review of the long anticipated Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is finally here! In this review of Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City, we'll be talking about the secret post ending credits scene, individual character reviews and of course there will be tons of SPOILERS! Hardcore Resident Evil fans will hate the movie while casual movie goers may find it somewhat enjoyable. Ever since the cast of the film was announced, fans took to the internet to criticize the movie for what was seen as poor casting choices with the film possibly following a WOKE agenda thus casting a "Black Jill Valentine" and "Mexican Leon Kennedy" We also began seeing hashtags such as #notmyleon start to circulate the YouTubes with each new video. We here at GameSomniac don't share those same opinions however, our reaction to Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City isn't favorable. While the movie is faithful to certain video game locations and set pieces, much of the story has been cut and changed due to time restraints. Certain characters such as the tragic villain Lisa Trevor are used as nothing more than plot devices or glorified cameo's if they're lucky. Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City is not the worst movie in the world but it's far from the best video game adaption of Capcom's best selling video game franchise.
Survivors try to uncover the truth behind the evil Umbrella Corp. while battling bloodthirsty zombies in the wastelands of Raccoon City. Set in 1998, this origin story explores the secrets of the mysterious Spencer Mansion and the ill-fated Raccoon City.
