[Little Rocket Lab] Launch playthrough pt4 - Stage 2 Rocket (Wrap-Up)
Finally went into the mines, finally figured out the chemical processing stuff (although I can definitely do better with layouts) and I want to keep my observations here for the Stage 2 wrap up itself short because the lead-up to it and the events around it were pretty... choreographed to say the least, but it was really, REALLY well executed
Anyway, without going into spoilers since this game is still pretty new (but why would folks worried about spoilers be watching a longplay vid anyway lol) the start of the 4th season really, REALLY stood out again as incredible game design. I said it a few times that this game can absolutely be called both a factory game and a cozy town sim, but having the cozy town sim part feed into the factory part as organically as it does (without detracting from it, either) really is a master class in 'the hook of a game'.
tl;dr the game does go in some incredibly predictable places narratively (which is fine!), but manages to keep things fresh mechanically, which is the exact opposite of what I thought this game would be when I was starting with it, lol
