This is a speedrun of Pogo's chapter of Live A Live.

I'll be honest, Pogo's chapter is my least favorite chapter to run. In fact, it's probably my least favorite in general. When I first started playing Live A Live, Pogo's chapter was the first one I played, and it damn near turned me off to the game forever. This IL is probably phoned in a bit more than the others; I'm sorry for that.

Pogo's chapter boils down to three things: beating Zaki the first time to get banished, getting Bel to 7 to get Laa Laa (which will wreck the boss of the chapter), then finishing the chapter. My run up until the banishment was mechanically sound but plagued with bad luck including 4 misses during one fight and some mediocre hits while fighting Zaki.

The grind was a little slow due to bad spawn luck. After that the run became decent again. You may not be able to tell, but fights are not random in this chapter. Enemy groups have a location on the map and move around invisibly; you sniff with Y to find them. This makes navigating the dark cave and the path to the tribal village very difficult as the paths are narrow and full of monsters.

The 5 minute time save near the end is, sadly, due to me trying something new in the previous PB and it not working out; not any major skip or save I found.

Back of the envelope math says a "Good" run of this chapter is 48 minutes or so. So this isn't really a good run 8)
