For the past year, Nintendo has enjoyed a level of success that other manufacturers and game makers have been very jealous of. And for good reason. Nintendo has knocked it out of the ballpark with the Switch, And because of that expectations are extremely high for the remainder of 2018. Earlier this year Nintendo fans got sneak peeks at new versions of Smash Brothers, Metroid for, and other games such as an Untitled Yoshi game for the switch. In addition, they also released a new version of the 2DS XL and double down on that platform. There's a lot potentially riding on this press conference for Nintendo.
There are quite a few things for the switch. Fortnite has been heavily rumored and I have actually already downloaded on my Switch. There have been rumors of a Star Fox racing game similar to F-Zero leading up to E3. Hulu and Netflix coming to the platform have also been rumored although Best Buy, the source of the original rumor, has tweeted out that they do not have any information regarding when those two applications will come to the platform and their post was incorrect. Will we see actual gameplay of Smash Brothers?
My coverage of Nintendo's for the first time after many of you. Having had to work today I did not have an opportunity to stream live when the event was happening. The only thing that I know is Fortnight is available. So come along as we dive into Nintendo's E3 Direct presentation.
